It is very relaxing to walk along the lake away from the tourist area. We like the calm quiet places and not the hustle of people shopping.

I loved the experience. We were stationed at Freiburg & took a train for a day visit to the lake. Wonderful view from the train. Loved the black forest. Snow covered pine trees all around the place. Lovely restaurants & tourist shops. Amazing view!
