Off to an interactive family excursion to memory®, Barricade ® and Co – Museum Ravensburger lies right in the centre of the city of Ravensburg. At the former company headquarters, the home of the blue triangle, visitors can discover games, puzzles and books from over 125 years of company history. A clever guide accompanies the children and young people – in the tiptoi® Museum Rally, the pen from the well-known audiodigital learning system guides the young visitors through the rooms and asks knowledge-based questions. Visitors who plan enough time for their trip can read and play after their tour – out in the open too if the weather permits. The museum world is very popular. Over 120,000 guests have visited it since the birthplace of the blue triangle was reopened in 2010.

If you have some extra time, you will enjoy this (very) small games museum. They have two floors full with board games history which we found very interesting. The admission cost € 7.50 Our visit was done in one hour, due to the holidays (26th December) it was almost empty. So, we had time to see every little detail =)... More

We love Ravensburg jigsaws and we travelled al the way there to get to know more about the jigsaws and games. At the entrance there was a booklet in English about the museum so we expected to have information in English also about the games. But all the information was in German only. There were a couple of games in... More

It is not just a museum of toys, games and puzzles. It is about the history of the company and how the products are designed and manufactured. There are lots of old toys, games and puzzles to see. It is very well presented over several floors.

Nice lttle museum about the history of the game and puzzle maker "Ravensburger". Lots of hands-on experience for little kids, nicely located. Recommendation for a rainy day in Ravensburg.

This museum is dedicated to celebrating the products of the Ravensburger company, toys, games, jigsaws, books and so on. It's designed to appeal to children so there are lots of hands-on activities where adults as well as children can play the various games, while other displays explain the mechanics of, for example, book production. While it will appeal to families... More

Alas, my husband and I didn't have any kids with us, or we would have enjoyed this even more. Plenty of activities for kids to do. Draw, put puzzles together or play games. One mom spent 20 minutes with her two young teens playing a memory game. Since most of us have a Ravensburger puzzle or game, it adds an... More

... I just loved it! Got to see all the games I remembered from my own childhood, plus learned a lot about the company and their new products. You can get an interactive museum's game where you have to answer questions throughout the museum. Its meant for kids, but we took the one for 10th graders which was ok for... More

This museum is quite hands on, and we thought it would be good for children, even those with very limited German. But it is quite surprisingly text- dependent. Also, lots of the games, obviously much beloved locally, were unknown to us. We are all huge fans of the Ravensburger jigsaws, and hoped to learn something about them, but they got... More

I liked it even if IT would have been better if i had children because this place is dedicated to them. 30% off if you purchase on the museum instead of anywhere else in Germany. Very interesting because i did not know ravensburger was that big and had so many départements and that there was a ravensburg attractions parc not... More

If you're a die hard fan of Ravensburger puzzles and board games, or if you're interested in the graphic arts or educational books, this small museum is a paradise. It is the most fun if you come with friends or family and plan to hang out playing games together, as all of the currently in production Ravensburger games are available... More
