Nice to see what the black forest with its old houses looked like

We have been here twice both times for over 4 hours plus, and still round new things to see. A good day out for all

Lots of old Black Forest buildings transferred from surrounding area, rebuilt and furnished. A step back into time

Traditional houses, some with working exhibitions. Great restaurant in which to eat traditional German food - drink their beer.

Wonderful old music machines, period costumes, mineral and rock collection, cuckoo clocks, glassware, paintings, rooms with snapshots of 19th century life. And a cafe to relax in.

Great place to be outside and show kids how was the way of living in the past. You can see animals and houses decorated during that time. The place has a restaurant and a store. Also outside, between their parking and the entrance you could see stores and restaurants.

Learn about the past of this corner of the world and try to imagine how people lived only a short while ago

I took this trip being ignorant as can be about the history of the Black Forest. This was incredible to me. The kids loved it too!
