Missed tour unfortunately
Sep 2018 • Couples
Visited on a Sunday afternoon but unfortunately missed a tour of the brewery. We did visit the shop and bought a box of 6 extremely good tasting beers for 6:40 euros - bargain I thought.

Centuries-Year Old Brewery Carved Into Mountainside
Apr 2018
Brahaus Faust was a step back in time. The first authentic German brewery I've ever visited and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our tour guide was warm and inviting and started off the tour with beer sampling to our heart's content. Once we got a nice buzz, we toured the entire brewery from top to bottom. On the outside, the brewery is a quintessential German building with an ornate facade but inside, is at least four floors of modern day brewing technology. Once at the top of the building, the view is spectacular like a scene from Sound of Music. After the tour we continued to sample beers on the ground floor. Our tour guide was kind enough to show us where they stored the beer in the caves and even showed us the antique brewing/harvesting equipment. The coolest part by far was the year carved into an archway in the cave (I believe 1650's). On top of this awesome experience, the beer was delicious. I will no doubt be back again, thanks for the great time! Prost!

Great beer garden
Jul 2018 • Friends
Found a table when it was not so busy and decided to eat here . Beer was good and flowing freely . Obviously a very popular place as it filled up very quickly. The local brewery Faust is just around the corner and they sell wonderful beers , especially Faust Bayrisch Hell and the Weizen Hefe-Dunkel . Had a lovely starter of Mushrooms and Rocket followed by a Tuna Flammekuche . A fabulous night out and we were very disappointed when we could not get in the following night . It was empty inside but being very warm evening wanted to sit outside in the beer garden Still well worth it .

Brauhaus Faust Miltenberger
Oct 2016 • Couples
Took a 2 week River Cruise. This was one of my favorite stops!!! First, Miltenberg is a Wonderful town, the essence of olde town Germany. I took the tour ot the Faust Brewery, as I have done in MANY breweries. NEVER, and I say NEVER, have I experienced a tour I enjoyed more!!! It was incredible. And the Tasting room was perfect! I fell in love with the Faust Beer! It was some of the BEST BEER I have ever had the joy of consuming!!! I wish I could get it in the states. But I must gp back, just to visit Miltenberg. On my way back to my ship, I passed the crew. They had just restocked their beer supply, with FAUST!!!!!!!!!! I was in heaven.
I think back fondly of this stop, and just came across the closesst thing I can get to going back to Germany! I visited Sierra Nevada Brewery in Mills River, NC, outside of Asheville. They have collaborated an Oktoberfest Beer I just loved. Come to find out, it is a collaboration with, FAUST Brewery in Miltenberg!!!!! Try a Taste of Germany brewed right here at Home!!!!!

Great brewery
Jul 2017 • Family
We got a tour through Faust in English. Good introduction on the brewery and we could taste different beers: from regular ones to premium. Then, we walked around the brewery visiting step by step of the beer production ending up in their cave and choosing another beer in the end of the tour. The guide, which was also the brew master, was super friendly. Recommended!

One of life's little gems
May 2017 • Friends
This brewery is small but perfectly formed and punches above its weight in terms of the variety of beers it is able to produce. Our tour was conducted by one of the brewmasters whose English was excellent, as were the beers we were given to sample. The first one came as a full-size 330 ml glass, though their other, more specialised beers, were served in smaller quantities. This was a good thing as the ABV increased steadily as the tastings were offered. Distribution is restricted to a fairly narrow radius around that part of Bavaria but it is well worth seeking out if you happen to be in that neck of the woods. The brewery tour involves climbing up and down lots of stairs, although there is a lift which can be used to go part way up, so perhaps those with limited mobility would be advised to carry on trying the different beers in the pleasant tasting room rather than risk a fall, either on the stairs or into one of the open fermentation tanks!
