not only for flowers-lovers
Jul 2016 • Family
As most of german gardens also this one is perfectly maintained - clean, wonderful flower beds, great paths to have a nice walk. For children there is playground and big chess to play. Visit recommended from June till September, then you can admire the most beautiful views!

Unrivaled Beauty
Sep 2017 • Couples
The history, the smells and the beauty of tounsands of flowers dating back a hundred years or so make the Rosengarden a must see in Zweibrucken. Stroll around the grounds, stop and see the type of flower, the year and then pause for a coffee and cake (koffee & kuchen) at the small cafe with some wonderful souvenirs. Peaceful and informative. It is so easy to get lost in the beauty and lose track of time.

Beautiful

Rosengarten in Zweibruecken is a lovely garden where you can not only admire plenty of different kind of roses, but also place to relax. There are many chairs and deck chairs available in bowers or on the grass under the trees, where one can refresh or just escape from sun for a while. The park is peaceful and enjoyable, dogs on a leash are allowed, parking is for free. I truly recommend. Don't forget hat or umbrella to protect against sun.

Peaceful time-out
May 2017 • Friends
Although it's not 'rose season', there were many beautiful irises and other colourful flowers in full bloom. The ticket is definitely worth the view of such a botanical variety and there is a well equipped little playground for kids, benches, little restaurant... Heaven on earth ^^ I'm looking forward to visit the garden again in late summer ^^

Cozy rose garden
Aug 2016 • Couples
It doesn't feel like you're in the middle of a city. Not as big as expected but the flowers were arranged beautifully, with numerous benches where you can sit and relax. Small area with playground and lounge chairs to relax on the grass.

Nice relaxing place.
Jul 2016 • Family
Went there on a hot lazy Saturday afternoon, lovely gardens, things to do as well as enjoy the Roses. Played outdoor Chess, Sunloungers were available and a cosy little coffee shop. All for a very reasonable entrance fee. We were also spoilt by a Dance School having the mini ampthitheatre for public dancing with Cocktails as well as an impromptu dance lesson for those who wanted it.

The only very minor downside was a few beds were not weeded but that really is nit-picking.

Beautiful Garden
Nov 2015 • Family
Even in the off season the gardens, displays and the area is breathtaking. We were there in November and still some roses were in bloom. The Totem pole donated by the Canadian 3 Wing Air Force stationed there many years ago still proudly stands.
