I went there in summer and the weather was great. It's about 28 degrees with sunshine and the circuit is big. Highly recommend you to sit in the middle of the start/finish line. There are a lot of events at the same day F1 was held. Although it was a little too expensive, lots of race track nowadays are also... More

The circuit itself is good, but be prepared for walking long distances if you are coming by public transportation. We came from Mannheim (a good place for having the hotel) in a regional train on Saturday afternoon. The shuttle stop is in front of the train station, but no bus was there... we were waiting near 30 minutes and nothing.... More

One of the truly great European race tracks. Good and clean facilities. At most meetings there are plenty of food and coffee stalls. Excellent seating with good views. Recommended.

Having not been to the circuit since 1980, it was good to be able to enjoy the daily tour that is available to visitors. The whole thing lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours and takes you into the stands and the exec suites, the race control, paddock and pits, and around the circuit itself (there were motorbikes practising on... The racetrack itself is beautiful! :) There are so many places to take nice photographs. The colored seats add an extra fun touch. Facilities on the paddock are decent as well. Something I noticed is that a lot of the buildings / furniture / everything in general feels very old and is often not in very good condition. It does... More

We visited the ring in August, they had a public race day where people could register and race against each other, the event was great, it lasted the whole weekend and you could also rent a place for camping. The organization was perfect and the cars and motorcycles were top quality. I wouldnt hesitate to visit this place again! Totally... More

hockenheim is great fun to drive, with a combination of fast sections and a technical in field. for most part good run off areas, except in the motordrome where there is gravel in case you go long ;)

If you are a petrol-head, then this is a must! You get a 90 minute tour of the whole facility from the VIP Exec boxes in the South Stand (great views over the circuit) to Race Control and also (if conditions are OK and the track is not in use) a lap of the track in your own car! The... More

Fantastic track with fast and technical sections. Good run off areas in case of mistakes. Only downside are the old and out dated boxes.
