Good place for locals, bad for foreigners
Aug 2018
By accident I discovered this water park. From the start was a deception. Nowhere is info in english. Only on german. No surprise that the young lady at the entrance doesn't even understand english. With sign language finnally we paid 10 euro for a 2 kids family. I was surprised with the low price, but I thought that miracles does exist. So we undressed preparing for the water slides and the heated pools, but... Oh, another surprise: for the indoor facilities there is another entrance where you have to buy bracelets separately (37 euros). With this ones you can access both indoor and outdoor parts of the water park... No info, no markings, nothing. So, we decided to reclaim the first money but from who? The lady doesn't speak english... Thats it, we had to paid again to enjoy the indoor part. There is a large swimming pool, a water slide, a smaller heated pool (135cm deepth), and a small pool for little kids. The outdoor part is quite large, 2 big pools and a high trambouline. Everywhere you can find warning that, warning this, don't do that don't do this... of course only in german. Even the water slide has semaphore with red and green light for protection, german kids doesn't take care of nothing, especially about safety rules. My kid was hit two times in the back, after that I was forced to take measures. I don't recommend on weekend because it's full and crowded. The personal is only for whaisting time not to ensure safety of the public.

We used this pool for training and qualifying swim test. Staff was very friendly and communicated well in English. Miss the place already.

Great place to cool off
Jul 2014 • Family
Great place to cool off with the whole family and relax. Indoor and outdoor pools are available along with plenty of space to lounge and get some sun. One of the pools inside is heated while the other one with the diving boards is not. There are high dives outside in one of the bigger pools and there is also a kiddie pool for the little ones. Reasonable entry fee and food is also available for purchase. This is a great place for young people as well as families.

Lots of pools, indoors & out
Jul 2013 • Family
There are about 7 different pools, indoors and out, kiddie pools, lap pools, and diving pools, as well as a waterslide and two snack bars. It can get very busy on hot summer days, but there is lots of grassy space to spread out.

Don't let the building fool you. There is more!
Jul 2013 • Family
When passing the Silvana on the street, you may just see an indoor pool, but you will be surprised what is beyond those doors! It is a huge park with so many temperature monitored pools, both indoors and outdoors for every age that's open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily all year round.Take the bus, public street parking, ride your motorcycle, moped, or bicycle. There is parking spots for all. You can even walk if you are close enough and the Wild Park is minutes up the street as well. Admission is really inexpensive for the amount of options available. It's free for children under 6, 2,40 Euros for those 6-15 years of age, and 4 Euros for adults. They offer swimming gear for sale at the entrance. Goggles, swim wear, floats, etc. They have plenty of lockers, changing stalls, and public restrooms to include outlets with mirrors for those that want to utilize hair dryers and such. There are walk ways from the street, into the building, and all the way to the top of the highest point of the park outside in case you have strollers. Bring your Picnic gear if you want because there is plenty of land to lay out a blanket and set up. There are posted umbrellas in place, but they are first come first serve. Feel free to bring your own. Small snacks and drinks are not a problem. They even have places to buy food and drinks if you don't mind the long lines when the park is busy. They have pools to do laps, aqua sports, multiple diving boards up to 10 Meters (32ft) high, wading pools for the little ones to include a pirate ship in one of the pools. There is so much more available so go out there and experience the fun with family, friends, or just by yourself!

Good place to swim and stay in shape
Oct 2012 • Friends
Like the indoor and outdoor pools. Lockers are convenient, and Many families enjoy the splash pool, but it also is a great place to swim laps in the 25m indoor or the 50m outdoor pool.

Family Water Fun
Mar 2012
The long winter months in Schweinfurt makes Silvana a great family destination for water activities. It offers a lap pool, diving board, waterslide, heated water lounge, and an outdoor heated pool. The other outdoor pools are seasonal and were not open during our visit but inside has plenty to offer. A cafe offers food and drink but there didn't appear to be a problem with bringing in your own. Wall lockers are included in the entrance fee and are kept neat and clean. It's not really fair to compare Silvana to other large indoor water parks in larger cities, it may be small in comparison but it's the best thing going in Schweinfurt. The cashier spoke passable English and the price was fair, we will definately return.
