I accidentally wandered into this amazing place, while my friends were taking a break from walking. We were all very happy to discover it, because it offers a breathtaking view over the city and an dreamy garden of roses, with a fountain in the middle,...More

The rose garden was in full bloom and the scent alone was fantastic! There are so many different types of roses and they are in small beds by color. Definitely worth a stop to visit

A rose garden not more than that. Is nice many roses are There. Good art. Is exposed. There is even a cafe to relax. But there is nothing extraordinary on that.

Beautiful garden adjoining the New Residence with a wide variety of lovely rose bushes. A great place to take a short break and admire the view.

Rose garden is well kempt (I'd expect nothing less in Germany!) and was in full bloom in August. The views over Bamberg are nice. No doubt you'll be coming up the hill to see the Dom, so why not pop in?

We visited in the summer and it was a delight. The garden is worth visiting not only because of the flowers, but the views of the Dom and other buildings around it add to it. The garden is free to enter.

We stumbled upon this garden unknowingly and it was so colourful and beautiful!! It was in full bloom when we saw it, which was so picturesque. Also, don't miss the town views from atop the wall patio, opposite to the garden entrance.

We popped in to the gardens to rest in the shade from the sun. The roses ate beautifully laid out. There are great views of the city below. Somewhere to rest in the quiet for a while. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately the roses were not flowering at the time of our visit but nevertheless worth a look see as the views over old town are worth it.
