My partner was here with her daughter in 2011 and saw a wooden statue of Jesus sitting rather like Rodin's "Thinker" and she really wanted to find this again. So we went through the church and one room was locked so as she couldn't find...More

This is a nice, old and historical church which is really of a big size. Its nice and calm inside. Looks good both from inside as well as outside. After feeling the beauty at the lake side, one can sit inside and feel the calmness.

Look very very closely in this cathedral. There are four green men / foliate heads and two columns with some very interesting carvings, not the sort you would expect to find inside a cathedral. Known as exhibitionist figures, these will make you smile and maybe...More

The Munster is in the centre of the old town. There is a disabled access at the side of the church thus avoiding lots of steps. Inside it is magnificent, some particularly fine statues of the Madonna. If you are in to Church architecture this...More
