had a fantastic day out with my family, lots to see and do, while we where visiting they had a winter wonderland on with fair ground rides and games etc, was lovely allround and nice fish and chips :)

Why? Disable persons transport. One bus with disabled access but couldn't get on as they were letting anyone on. Asked the conductor about disabled access his response was it's for anyone even though sign along bus saying accessible access. Made complaint. Ended up having to push my husband back to entrance. Good job adult kids were with me to help.... More

disgracefull for what we paid would never go again only interesting thing were raindeers and then we had pay for measly tiny packet of food ..xmas tree poor lights poor nothing for children unless yu wanted to pay again for santa grotto and everywhere made on the cheap yet hundreds of people there ,most complaining as they must of made... 2nd visit for us of the year. We always planned to return and make use of the year pass but.... discovered I had lost the passes. I rang the museum who said don't worry we can find you on our system and right enough they did - no problem. This time we visited the other areas we missed last time... More

we visited beamish on 4/12/2016 very busy because of the time of the year,we were booked in by our tour guide on a block booking and were very grateful for this as there were very long queues,once in because it is very spaced out you need to use the trams,buses or the horse and carriage,and because of the amount of... This was an amazing full day out. there's an awful lot of walking as the transport in the way of trams and old buses whilst very quaint are quite infrequent and much time is spent queueing. Fabulous to see a working museum ,what a wonderful anday forward thinking idea when first started. A good full day out and ticket gives a year entrance, very good value .
