Good place to visit for a couple of hours. Just a small place but the animals all looked very health. Some very interesting creatures some unusual ones I've never seen before.

Small, friendly and fun reptile and snake house
Sep 2016 • Family
We held my son's 7th birthday party here in September and it was a huge success! Easy to organise, reasonably priced, the party format includes a tour where the children get to handle some of the less dangerous animals, a video can be shown, and there is a party room where you can have a birthday lunch and/or cake. We took our own balloons, a couple of our own games to play and did a punch piñata in the garden outside at the end. Only negatives are that it can be a little hard to find for some Sat Navs, and our tour guide was slightly late and I was thankful that we had taken a couple of "filler" games / crafts for the kids to do while we waited. Overall a great experience and a successful birthday!

Love this place

Over the years I have owned several reptiles and the Vivarium has been amazing. When I travelled, my tortoises and python would go there on vacation. There is a really good selection of animals and I know from the experience of my own, that they are very well cared for. There are programmes for children where they can get to know reptiles better, see the babies, watch eggs hatching, hold a snake ....

Great place to spend an hour or so with young kids

Very nice reptile house with a good selection of snakes, turtles, spiders, lizards and all the rest. Topped off with a nice hands on session where the kids could touch and hold a snake. Recommend a visit.

Snakes and reptiles
Aug 2014 • Family
So you want to see some interesting Snakes and reptiles, this is a place just 5 minutes from the Geneva Airport and 20 minutes outside the Center of Town. Its very reasonable if you find coupons for about CHF 8- for an adult. Its really local and your visit will always be appreciated/helpful for Awareness and reducing phoeobias.

Come here many times with my kids and friends of kids. I have found the animals well kept, the people who work here are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It is one of the best places for lizards, snakes and other reptiles and insects.
I highly recommend it. But please do pay attention to the signs not to knock the glass - it really does disturb the creatures and is not fair on them!

Interesting place, especially for reptile lovers

This is a small place not far from downtown Geneva, very easy to get to by bus. They have a very good collection of snakes, lizards, turtles, tarantulas and alligators including poisonous and endangered species. They even have a nursery with a lot of baby reptiles. You can see the place in less than an hour but you can easily spend 2 hours or more here if you want to read about all of the animals. If I remember correctly, it cost about 6 chf. each to get in. If you are a reptile fan, definitely check this place out.
