Our family had a wonderful day at Parco dei Briganti. Admission is free. The park features several obstacle courses suspended from trees that include zip lines. There is fee to navigate the courses with a guide. There are also mountain bikes and ATV's available for rent to explore the beautifully manicured paths on the property that skirt along olive groves. Hikers are welcome. There's even a Roman wall hidden on the path. Safety is a top priority for Vito Lopane and his staff. They carefully explained all the techniques necessary to safely navigate the confidence course. A number of the staff speak english so communication was not a problem. They made us feel like family. The picnic area is also a perfect place to enjoy lunch and a nap in a hammock. The place is very clean and well maintained. This should be a stop for anyone spending some time in central Puglia (Altamura, Cassano, Aquaviva, Santermo, Bari, Gioa dell Colle, Grumo, Nocci) especially families with children (ages 8-18). We'll remember our day at Parco dei Briganti for the rest of our lives.
