Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice garden with lots of greenery, quiet but not suitable for PMR because it goes up for a long time. Despite the regular benches on the way, the climb was difficult. My children continued alone and I waited for them in the shade. But they saw beautiful landscapes.

You have to be ready to climb because the garden is completely uneven (but it can be done slowly). There are several waterfalls along the way. This is very cute. And at the top a small square with a very beautiful panoramic view, and vestiges of period ruins.
In short, a very pleasant 30-minute walk.

Tucked away on a hillside at the back of town, this lovely garden is home to alpine plants from all over the world. A fairly steep path winds up the hill, passing through areas displaying the flora of each continent or region. It is all very naturalistic and many of the plants are labelled. From the ruins of the chateau at the top there are fantastic views over the Giffre valley.

The botanical gardens in Samoens are just another reason that this town is a cut above the usual alpine ski resort.
Make sure you have decent shoes and plenty of energy because it is on a steep slope and the walking is all up or down hill.
We saw it in the spring as the earliest flowers were coming out and it was a lovely spot to spend a little time on a sunnny afternoon.

This is a beautiful garden on the hillside with lots of little places to stop and sit peacefully taking in the gorgeous views of the surrounding town and mountains.

Lovely gardens in the centre of town with plants from around the world but in keeping with the general area the gardens are on a steep incline so you need to be fairly fit to appreciate them by going all the way to the top.
P.S. Be aware that for some obscure (or French) reason the gardens close on the dot of 12 so the keepers can have lunch! Not sure what they thougfh we would do in their absence.

Gorgeous gardens, open to the public, free access - really interesting and well laid out and a steep climb to the top but well worth it! Often there are art/garden displays at the top - unfortunately, it is closed for lunch though so plan your visit times ............well worth it!

Closed during Christmas week. It was such a shame as it wasn’t even snowing 😩this wasn’t made clear on the website or any signage nearby and people were stood looking at the gates wondering why they couldn’t get in

Sans doute l'essentiel de la flore sera absent mais la promenade vaut la peine, c'est un espace charmant à visiter qui monte un peu.
