A great review. Buy Aravis ski pass and visit Le Grand Bornand too. Lots of great runs, good cafes too.

We were there in summer but had a great time. Plenty of fresh air, good food and beautiful walks. We took the cable cars to the top and then did our walks as weather was very warm. A good mix of restaurants in the town, although sometimes, it does feel as though you have enough cheese! Well worth checking out... More

Hubby enjoyed a fantastic day of mountain biking... He bought a day pass to access all areas using the ski/chairlifts to reach the peaks before the adrenaline rush of coming back down again! Meanwhile there was plenty of entertainment in the town for the kids and I. The luge was a big hit (chairlift up and luge back down)! Restaurants... More

This was our first cable car on our trip, really loved this climb as well as views at the top. Well worth doing as well as being private.

We decided to spend a day at La Clusaz in August 2016. We were staying in Annecy and had heard that you could catch the chairlift to the top of the mountain and walk some of the trails. Fantastic day out. The walks were well marked and the scenery was spectacular. La Clusaz itself is a lovely town in the... More

We stayed in St Jean De Sixt, about 4 miles out. We visited most days as the kids were taking lessons. We found the parking very difficult as everyone and his dog wants to park anywhere, but patience is a virtue and we found a place every time. La Clusaz is a great little place, has lots of shops and... More

This was an amazing resort. It was incredibly beautiful & there's so many slope options for all abilitys. We had a ski lesson which was really helpful as it was one on one

Nice ski hill, beautiful little town which is rustic and welcoming. Definitely a place to stay if you love skiing and staying in smaller towns.
