Went there yesterday with my bf, everything looks pretty old: swimming pool, sauna, changing rooms. Valvital really needs to invest some money into renovating the whole thing. Personnel was friendly though.

With my husband and my friends, we went to Valvital therme in Divonne les Bains on Sunday 15 May. I was cut a piece of my big toe, profondly, around 1 square cm, might be by a water pipe on the floor at the entrance of zacuzzi bath, which I guess lost its rubber ring somehow. It cut my toe... The Divonne Thermes have a variey of facilities: a small pool (too small to swim laps but they do hold underwater spinning classes and water aerobics there, they also offer pre-natal aquagym for expectant mothers). They have a medium-sized spa pool for age 16+ only with a variety of water jets and jacuzzi type seats and benches. To use the... More

Arrived at 2200. Despite the room service menu saying serving till 0000, I was informed that there was no food to serve. Very poor service for what is a great hotel.

Good place, no crowd, they have courses as well, I liked! We went Sunday morning in a day with bad weather, waiting it to be full... Good news! It was not! I will return!

this is a run down spa in need of refurbishment and modernisation. There was mould in the sauna. There is no where to have anything to eat you have to get dressed and leave the place to get food!

The thermal baths in Divonne are on par with similar places in Switzerland. Not really different but offer many pools and the total experience on 'relax relax relax' Go for an afternoon and you will find it worth while.

This is a wonderful place to come - a variety of outdoor pools heated to different temperatures. Some have jets and massaging streams, A great place to relax - stayed here for about 3 hours.

The town of Divonne is right on the Swiss border, lots of "frontaliers" live there, cross to Switzerland for work. The centre of town has some chic boutiques, but the casino, thermes are a bit run down. Old glitz like old Atlantic City.

Every summer we head off to Divonne les Bains, there is the lovely town for shopping or eating, but we spend most of our time near the lake (Divonne Plage) this area has a cafe, plenty of lifeguards and a nice sandy beach area to sunbathe. It does get busy, but generally plenty of space for all, and every few... More
