About
The main door is richly decorated with porphyre green ‘serpentinite’. The bell tower is the vestige of one of the 4 watchtowers which formed part of the original fortifications. The left-hand side corresponds to the wall of the ancient rampart. In the third arch, there is reliquary bust of St Andrew, patron of the parish. There is also a plaque commemorates the memory of the crews of 4 submarines.

small average church
Aug 2019
Obviously this is a church ment for the inhabitants, not for tourists. And so it should be.
Very modest church, with some nice paintings and decorations on the inside.
A visit of ten to fifteen minutes should be enough.

Beautiful small church in this charming hilltop village
Jul 2018 • Couples
Ramatuelle, along with Grimaud and Gassin, are three particularly attractive villages and provide a welcome alternative to the hustle and bustle of chic St. Tropez. In Ramatuelle is this beautiful small church that provides a haven of peace when you are finished walking around the hilltop village.

Wonderful 16th century church

What can I say — i Was married in this church 25 years ago - and I am still married. Must be something about this church that inspires positive, lifelong spirit - definitely stop in, light a candle, say a prayer - you will feel the history.

Oasis of peace
Jun 2016 • Couples
Saint Tropez is known for fun, party, celebrities and shopping.
However, this is also very religious place, with people tightly holding onto their Tropezian heritage. Their church, Notre-Dame de l'Assomption is place where locals proudly congregate and share important dates. Church is offering you the opportunity to quietly pray in front of statue of St Tropez. Quite a treat
Church is open daily, and it is guarded by patrons, people who dedicate their free time to do good and take care of church. They shush people who love to talk loud, stop people who love to snap photos. Without local patrons, this amazing church would become something like Sacré-Cœur in Paris. Full of unruly tourist, eating and behaving like in Disneyland.
I can highly recommend you visit this church. Treat is with respect and enjoy the peace it will give you.
Google church photos. I am sure you will see the interior.

Very nice little church at the heart of the village of Ramatuelle
Jan 2016 • Couples
This is a very nice little church located in the heart of the village of Ramatuelle. We went of New Year day to pray and could enjoy the large nativity scene still present. The rest of the church is worth a visit at any time. And meditating, not matter what is your religion, is always a peaceful thing to do...
