We had a fantastic hour here. Never seen anything like it before. Beautifully laid out and just stunning. Owner was so helpful and showed our son the pride cowrie shell of his own collection. Recommended.
We loved our visit to the Shell Museum. Beautifully laid out, and very interesting. The shop shone with shells. €8 to visit the museum upstairs which was vast, full of colour and very educational. Loved it....

Our young daughter was enthralled by the colourful and interesting displays of seashells from all around the world. The gift shop was reasonably priced, and may have sparked a new hobby. Lovely little museum.
At a loss why this excellent city would give such a large and promonent space to such a mediocre museum. Maybe it was ok 30 years ago.
