Our tour began with Oliver picking us up in Saint Quinten, such a lovely place to stay. We first visited the Victoria School in Villers Bretonneux which house a wonderful museum with the history of the Australian Troups who served in France during WW1. Then on to the Villers Bretonneux cemetery where we were able to see the name of... More

Well where do you start. I am so very grateful I was able to find Olivier and his tour. His knowledge of the british sector for ww1 battlefields is second to none. With been able to track your location whilst seeing where the trench lines were during the war to avid descriptions of the battles the australians were a part... More

This was a great day out and worth every penny. Olivier met us punctually and was fully prepared for our day out. We wanted to see the memorial at Thiepval where my Great Uncle Jack has his name inscribed and see Vimy Ridge - but we got so much more. We were able to follow Jack's last day with maps... More

When booking this tour, everything was easy. Olivier even advised what train to catch from Gar du Nor station to St Quentin. The train trip took just over an hour. He was there to meet us on arrival and showed us to his impeccably clean minibus. I thought I knew a lot about the Anzacs on the Western Front, however... More

Olivier's one day Somme tour of Australian sectors was wonderfully presented. The trench maps and photographs contextualised the intensity and strategy of the Australian involvement in the 3 years of trench warfare in the area.

Informative day with Olivier who was a fantastic guide. Loved the interactive GPS maps that showed the trenches from WWI and also the photos dating back to that time. Quaint little cafe for lunch. Would recommend to anyone as Olivier was very adaptable for his audience.

Travelling to France to visit the WWI battlefields, we decided to ask Olivier if he. Old tailor a tour for us so as to capture all of the places we wished to visit. He more than adequately delivered on our request. In doing so he shaped our trip in such a way that we were provided with an insight into... More

Having started the tour with little knowledge of the Great War, it's progression and the involvement of all the different countries, I ended the tour with a more comprehensive understanding. We booked the tour after deciding on a last minute holiday in which to incorporate something my husband had always wanted to do. Visit and understand more about the Great... More
