A great place to sit drinking a few refreshments and watch the world go by. There are plenty of bars and eateries surrounding this beautiful square. Go up the nearby belfry for a few euros and get a fantastic view of the surroundings too!

Came on a Saturday morning with the market in full swing. Came back later when the market had gone. A nice square but not as nice as hero’s next door.

Loads of places to eat and drink in this square, which is also a huge car park, with underground parking as well as on the cobbled street level. Very picturesque.

The Grand Place is a gigantic square right in the middle of town and adjacent to the Heroes Place. It’s worth a visit if in Arras or if going out to dine but you can’t really do anything here other than be ‘wowed’ by its...More

Arras has to squares next to each other. The Grand place in my opinion is the better place. It doesnt have traffic parked in the middle and has the fantastic cathedral overlooking the square. We ate and drank in the square two nights back to...More
