It was on my list of places that I just had to see and it did not disappoint ! I went first to the rest stop for the view across the bridge and that was spectacular but the view from below is arguably even better....More

A round day trip from Carcassone, was it worth we think so but missed the lower view point turn off just after the bridge after that it's too late could have done with a stop off before the bridge. We also stopped at the services...More

The Millau viaduct is a truly impressive sight especially when approached from the north. It has an excellent visitor centre and is well worth stopping over at. From the visitor's centre it is also possible to get close up to the bridge and there is...More

There is a service area north of the viaduct where you can climb up to overlook the bridge and the river valley. The road crossing the bridge is the only part of the A75 autoroute that is peage.

The bridge and views from the valley are great, stay at Saint lambert camping and go from there to see.

We drove over this viaduct twice - it has the most wonderful view on one side down to Millau and the other side up the mountains, absolutely stunning and a wonderful construction.

This is a must see, whether or not you are an engineer. It is spectacular. First drive over it, then visit the excellent information centre and viewing point on the north side approach (which is accessible from either direction or from Millau - thus avoiding...More

Didn't know until later that it is the tallest bridge in the world, but it was on our route, so we paid the 8€ toll and drove across. The bridge is really something to look at, even from a distance.

€8 to cross. Stunning views and a must see.. not that you can miss it! It was much much bigger than I was expecting.

Barcelona to Millau by car (or minivan) is a 4 hour trip one way. Unless your group is totally into great engineering feats only I wonder if you would not like to extend your trip to include the (reconstructed) middle age... More

No idea. Maybe long distance buses. Not trains. I was actually disappointed when we later drove over it as you can't see anything from car

Actually the bridge rarely closed. But you might get snow in Clermont Ferrant. So I would check the forecast and I would avoid nighttime because of the frost. Every winter you have 1 or 2 days of bad weather who forced the... More
