A superb place and a lovely walk up to Lake Gaume and beyond. This trail is a little harsh in places, but the views and Lake Gaume make it all worthwhile. Park your car for a fee, €4 if I recall correctly for 12 hours....More

Superb walk - well worth the trip! Park at the car park and pay for the full cable car adventure - was about 30 euros for 4. Walk is well worth it!

Fantastic experience, visited with our 2 yr old, once you get past the somewhat touristic earlier parts you enter a wild open valley of rivers, snow and mountains, where you really feel like you could see mammoths roaming past any minute..

Very nice place to do mountain activities (Nordic skiing, snow walks, ...) or just enjoy the landscape. Easy access with the bus from Cauterets. Be aware in winter with iced paths.

Very beautiful natural paradise. Perfect for cross country skiing or walking. If there is snow it is a great location to take children to make snowmen. There is a bar there serving food and drinks and deck chairs to sit out in the warm sun...More

Visited this attraction of nature during a journey through France to Spain, just wish we had planned for a lot longer to really appreciate the site. The road to the area is interesting and gives a sense of wonderment as to what you are going...More
