Oh what a delight! The inside of this Cathedral is outstanding and breathtaking. From the Art, the Altar, the Organ the pillars oh my goodness it is splendid. The walk up to the upper levels up the spiral staircase is totally worthwhile. As you arrive...More

A magnificent cathedral inside and out, with wonderful view. If you can manage the precarious climb up the narrow, winding staircase of the tower, and don't mind the narrow walkway around the outside top, the views of the surrounding region are stunning.

You can see Saint-Nazaire from a way off if you approach from the right direction, it sits on a promontory above the river which is why you get such amazing views from the terrace in front. It looks like a bit of a fortress guarding...More

The church is filled with lessons in transitional architecture and situated in a quaint square with views of the countryside that are stunning.

Although a lot of steps up a precarious spiral (and dark) staircase the views are well worth the trip. Once on outside balcony it is safe and allows a 360 degree view of Beziers. Free to enter, they just ask for a voluntary contribution.

This was clearly designed by someone trying to compete with the views outside. Good try, but the garden is still the best bit! That said, this is probably the best looking cathedral I've ever seen.

Visited Beziers during their Féria, so everything was at a busy standstill. The cathedral though, was relatively quiet, with only a spattering of tourists. It's a steep climb to the top of the hill where the church is located, but doable if you take it...More
