The city center is small and has certain charm, but don't expect much apart from the nice shots of the cathedral + bridge. If you happen to wander off the few main streets, the city is unfortunately not well maintained and you get a certain feeling of insecurity. I would not visit again.

Entry is free to this splendid medieval cathedral, with its impressive gothic /baroque architecture, and still in daily use. The paintings, gargoyles and frescoes contribute to the understated elegance of the interior, and the bishop’s garden provides a relaxed environment.
For the physically adventurous, the 160 step climb up a narrow winding staircase (with some uneven steps) to the top of the belltower is rewarded by panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
And there are a number of excellent bistros and bars in the immediate vicinity.

This is such a beautiful Church steeped in history.
Although it is situated at the top of a hill, it is fairly easy to access from the town. Admission is free (there is a donation box) and it is well looked after. There is a lovely courtyard and the views from the Cathedral grounds are magnificent. It is certainly worth paying a visit if you are in Béziers.

The Cathedrale Saint-Nazaire is a beautiful old cathedral in the old part of Beziers. Its a short walk from the center of town and well worth the visit. The building and gardens are well maintained and the view over the surrounding countryside, including the rivers and canals is fantastic. It is the architectural highlight of the region and so photogenic from almost every angle. We walked down to the river and looking back up the hill was the best way to appreciate this awesome building.

The cloisters have a lot of extant medieval corbels depicting fantastic beasts and original frescoes can be found here and there in the cathedral. A nice bishop's garden as well.

Come here to see the splendid cathedral and the medieval cloisters. Also come here for the splendid views from the park outside. This is the best place in town for visitors.

Wonderful free church to visit, but do leave a donation! Climb up the stairs to the bell tower. The views are worth it! Both inside and outside the church.

Well worth a view inside and out.
Climb the spiral staircase for a pigeon eye view of this fine cathedral.
Also views across Beziers outside in this old part of Beziers.
Also, visit at night for illuminated photos.
