Visiting towns around Paris is a real treat for me. Saint Germain-en-Laye is a prime example of the town I like best :) The town is dominated by a historical chateau which once belonged to the royal family. The exterior has been recently restored, so...More

You cannot miss seeing this building since it dominates Saint Germain and is right next to the park. It's quite large and part of it is now an archeological museum. Overall Saint-Germain-en-Laye is a lovely place to visit if you have exhausted Paris and want...More

Worth a visit to see thé grandeur- the tranquility is superb. The views of Paris from the garden are lovely. About 20 Minutes on the RER from Paris.

The chateau and its gardens are well worth visiting. We came on a sunny & hot public holiday afternoon and after a short walk to admire the panorama, we collapsed on one of the many lawns to idle away the time.

Great place for a family stroll on a Sunday. The castle has been also renovated on the facades, which now look stunning.
