This a little off-side located site is an absolute ‘must see’ for any WW-buffs.
Museum is small but well maintained. Both the WW1 and WW2 history is shown.
There a much better equiped WW-museums, but than this is the actual historical location.
We visited this museum while works are being undertaken to celebrate the anniversary.

Although a replica of the original the carriage looked very authentic, it was well presented with lots of information on who sat where and their roles in the armistice. The rest of the museum was well set out with lots of displays and information.
We visited the museum late Sept. Museum and grounds are currently going through renovation work (we presumed as part of the Armistice Commemorations next month). The history of the train, before, during the Armistice and WW2 is fascinating. Museum apart from train is also excellent...More
