This botanical garden is packed full of tender plants from the southern hemisphere that survive the winter due to the mild climate of Roscoff, Brittany. Founded on a granite 'tor', the garden also has stunning views around. Only a minute's drive from the Ferry for Plymouth, look for the signs as you head back to the Ferry terminal, just right... Interesting garden, close to town and easy to access. Many colourful and unusual plants in a very attractive setting.

This is a real hidden gem overlooking the ferry port and marina. You have to go out towards St Pol de Leon a short way and then follow the signs back on yourself. we thought the entry prices were reasonable but then decided they were great value for money as we spent over two hours here and could have spent... We recently visited the garden for the first time. There is a wide range of plants from different parts of the world which seemed to be thriving on the Breton coast. If one follows the indicated route one is treated to a walk though a wide range of plants in a coastal garden. It is certainly well worth a visit... More

My family and I found this garden a nice way to pass the time between the pool and the beach. As expected, lots of exotic plants and a few excellent views of the port. Beware, not very stroller friendly if you have young kids.

As non gardeners it was still interesting wandering the immaculate gardens. Green fingered types would doubtless have got more from it.

This is a place to see lots of exotic plants, mostly from South Africa, I think. I visited with a friend and spent an afternoon strolling around the maze of paths, and climbed the big rock. There are plants for sale here too at reasonable prices which was nice. Big plus near by is a splendid beach for a refreashing... More

We live in an area of outstanding gardens so was a little dubious this would match the splendours of home. How wrong we were......this was excellent value for money (€6) with fantastic planting and a very clever route that made the place seem much bigger than it was. Plants were all clearly labelled, something that doesn't always happen in uk... More

We enjoyed a tour of this garden despite the rain, interesting discovery of plants from Africa and Asia and America. Little descriptions of the plant explores and their history a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.
