A triumph of form over substance. A hugely disappointing, superficial and badly-managed experience. Great for everyone that gets their cut - educational value however sadly limited. All for a kings' ransom of an entry fee. Best avoided :(

We visited with 3 generations and there really was something for everyone. Great kids area and everyone enjoyed playing with the remote controlled yachts. Lots of really interesting displays even if you know very little about sailing all in an amazing, modern building. Kids loved...More

We visited the large and impressive building on the sight of the WW2 German submarine pens. We were encouraged to buy an all inclusive ticket for the Submarine attraction too but we had seen that last year. The cost was €12 for the museum only...More

This museum is well worth a visit for anyone interested in sailing and the sea. The focus is partially on an interactive display of modern yacht sailing and there are plenty of things to actually 'play' with from sails and ropes through having a go...More
