Excellent fresh slurp of oyster with lemon on the seafront. Visit the market at the end of the walk way along the beach. Lovely sitting on the wall along the water eating these treats.

6 euros for a dozen of No. 3 (including surcharge to open with 1/2 lemon). Take the plate to the steps by the sea over looking the oyster beds. It doesn't get any better than this! Parking might be difficult during lunch time. We parked...More

This is proof in advertising: They sell oysters; you buy oysters; you eat oysters. Fresh as can be (you can watch them being harvested in the bay below), and you shells are tossed down to join the heap below.

The Marche in Cancale is actually very small and comprises about a half dozen booths selling fresh oysters. These can be shucked and eaten on the wharf right by the market (which is littered with shells as a testament), or packed to take away. They...More

This small market is dedicated to oysters. It is small - 6 stalls, I believe - and that is all. It is right on the ocean. At low tide - you see the oyster beds extending for a about 1/4 mile into the ocean/English Channel....More

A great place for an oyster “dégustation”. The ambiance is fun and very authentic, the prices are unbeatable and the oysters delicious.

The oysters sold here are super fresh. They are packed for takeaway or served on the spot with some lemon. We enjoyed the view to the bay while having some of the best oysters ever

In the freezing cold you want to stop by the market and get yourself some oysters. There were about 6 booths with mostly the same oysters. Around 6.50€ for 12 oysters. They are produced a few meters away and taste heavenly. Served with lemon and...More

D’habitude s’il y a un ‘r’ dans le mois c’est bon pour les huîtres. Par contre je ne sais pas s’il fait beau à cet époque en général
