The Pointe du Grouin is less frequented than some other parts of this coastline. The car park was smaller than many of the others we visited. During a November visit, the landscape was bleak, exposed and beautiful. There is a semaphore, an old signalling post...More

Thought it’s a more standard walk but there are pathways to go down closer to the water if one dares. A good spot to watch the tidal movement and appreciating the coastline of the bay. Didnot park too near the restaurant at the tip but...More

This is a lovely walk along the coastline. It's worth taking an extra layer as the wind can make it cold in the exposed areas. Parking is easy about 15-20 minutes from the 'Point' but you can make the walk as long as you like...More

The Pointe can be explored via a walking trail. In spring, lots of wild flowers abound. Views off to islands create a fantastic landscape. Take a picnic and enjoy the views. Free parking nearby. Bring windbreakers.

A great walk if you’re in the Cancale region, definitely worth to take the time to go. Have a drink to there, the view from the cafe is remarkable.
