The Pointe du Grouin is less frequented than some other parts of this coastline. The car park was smaller than many of the others we visited. During a November visit, the landscape was bleak, exposed and beautiful.

Thought it’s a more standard walk but there are pathways to go down closer to the water if one dares. A good spot to watch the tidal movement and appreciating the coastline of the bay.

The Pointe can be explored via a walking trail. In spring, lots of wild flowers abound. Views off to islands create a fantastic landscape. Take a picnic and enjoy the views. Free parking nearby. Bring windbreakers.
