This ski resort is on an incredibly beautiful mountain, with a great selection of green runs, blue runs and red runs. There is, unfortunately, only one black run in the resort, which is rarely open due to the snow in that particular area (although the snow overall is very good). However, from what I’ve heard and seen, this black run is very good, although I cannot say for sure, as I have never been down it. Aside from this drawback, I cannot recommend this place enough, with an amazing restaurant at the top of the mountain, and a very long ski run that goes from the top of the mountain straight to the bottom. You can even ski very close to the summit of the mountain, with a challenging red run that will make even seasoned skiers have a fun challenge on their hands. There is even a slalom course for racers, although it is recommended that you wear shin pads on this course. Finally, to top all these attractions off, there is also a snow park to show off your tricks by going on small, medium and large jumps. This is near the bottom where safety can be reached quickly in the event of an accident in this park. Don’t think that this resort isn’t for beginners. There is a brilliant training slope to learn going up a button lift, turning and learning the basics of skiing before moving on to the exciting runs at the top of the mountain. On top of this, there are also great skiing lessons on offer at this place from experienced teachers. At the bottom of this resort are multiple first aid workersthat will make your skiing experience fun and safe. I know someone who was in a ski accident at this place, and the matter was handled with ease and speed, preventing something potentially much worse. Overall, this incredible ski resort earns my seal of approval and many others’ as well. A great place to ski.

The town is neat and quite with easy drive to ski station. The surrounding are so nice with multi spots to indulge into nature. People are quite nice and friendly. At this time of the year even the week end were not so crowd. Shi facility are excellent. Ski tools rent shops are plenty with excellent quality and variety of options. I used INTER SPORT Shop and the staff were superb and very helpful.

There's a good ski-bus service from the town each day so no need to trek up the twisted road through the increasing snow as the town ( some-what lower) is often snow free. Plenty of options for lift passes e.g. 2hours, 4hours, 1day or a discount for 3or more days, Children, groups or pensioners/ pedestrians. The runs are well marked and groomed and the lower slopes all either blue or green rated and thus suitable for learners to make a circuit! The upper slopes reached by either a large cable car or an exposed chair and series of drag lifts. In good weather conditions the link over the high pass to Superbesse is possible but is often closed for high winds. A great resort for learners or for serious skiers to spend a few days enjoying.

If you avoid weekends, August and fêtes, this can be a wonderful location. The walk up is 1 or2 hours, or if lucky you can take the lift. But when you arrive and there is no low cloud, the 360 degree views are stupendous. And the cafe is welcoming and offers snacks and drinks. For the intrepid this is a great starting point for some incredible high-level walks.

Poor weather overall so the skiing was highly variable. Ski du fond / xc ski routes were closed but there are racquette / snow shoe alternatives. The Tourist Office offers various walking options with excellent guides - the night hike is especially good and highly recommended. Downhill pistes in good order. NO queues! Very good value for money. InterSport 2000 hire shop staff excellent.
