We went from PortoVecchio to Bonifacio/Lavezzi islands and back: - very bad organization of the cruise : after starting the cruise, we finally had to wait 20min at Palumbaggia for a second boat, to transfer 70 add. People in our single boat (total 170pers!!!) - landing / boarding at lavezzi island was miserable ! Only 1 single small "zodiac" landing craft to land 170 people! It took 1hour to board, 30people packed per shuttle, no safety rules to land/board on the pontoon (you had to jump, at your own risks) inflated boat!"

We went from PV to Bonifacio by sea and then to the Lavezzi islands for the afternoon and were back at 6 00. About 30 people on a boat that could take 100 was perfect - plenty of room to move about. Bouillabaise lunch on boat was fine. Views of Bonifacio amazing. Islands not brilliant - a bit of hike if you wanted to find another beach cove. Sea a bit lumpy on return - glad we were in a powerful boat ! Interesting day out for 75 euros each. A few words of English from the captain would have helped us to know what was happening, eg pick up time off the beach.

I am not too sure what I was expecting.....maybe more breaks/achoring....but the whole day was very long and not well organised....being of limited French they speak very fast and no English translation was given. The boat was tired and my dad said the propeller was cavitating....on the upside the food was nice and the staff friendly.....the transfer to the islands was not great by tender.... my suggestion would be drive to bonifacio... and catch a shorter trip to the islands....

On our penultimate day in Corsica, we decided to splash out on a day trip by boat. The trip we paid for was Porto Vecchio - Bonifacio - Lavezzi islands. Unfortunately for some reason, we did not stop at Bonifacio. If I recall correctly, we set off around 09.00 and arrived back around 17.00 - so a full day. The service was ok, but there didn't seem to be much English spoken - fortunately me and my partner have some French, but those not speaking French might have struggled. The toilets were small, and had no soap, which was surprising, as the crew were preparing fresh food - a bouillabaisse or alternatively a pasta bolognese. There was plenty of wine, an aperatif and a digestif with lunch, plus black coffee (no milk) earlier in the morning. Later in the afternoon, there was more to drink, fruit and biscuits. There are a lot of sharp rocks to negotiate in and out of the water on the Lavezzi islands, so I'd recommend swimming shoes (I found a pair in Porto Vecchio for €10), and beware there is little or no shade on the small beaches. If there are a lot of passengers on the boat plus other boats visiting, the beaches get full quite quickly. On the way back, the boat stopped for people to go swimming from the boat, with steps down into the water. €75 is rather a lot, but as Corsica is quite an expensive destination, it's unlikely you'd find much else for less than this. There were tips being collected, but I didn't get involved as I believe tipping is antiquated.

I had the unlucky idea to book a cruise with this company with a group of friends. Everything went wrong: bad food, old and unsafe boat, truly unprofessional staff, even worst organization. It was a terrible day: the crew was completely unable to manage the situation where we have been in real danger because of the weather conditions. Most all of the passengers have suffered stomachache and vomited. This company shall be carefully avoided.
