We took the trip when the weather was not perfect so warm sun was replaced with rough seas and a long trip. Never the less it was beautiful and highly recommend the trip to the UNESCO world heritage site. I would consider taking the boat from Porto.

We took the Catamaran to visit the stretch of water beyond Calvi and the scenery was amazing. The rock formations were good and the trip took us to a little village - Girolata - only accessible by boat or walking! A delightful day out and the trip was well worth the 72 Euros each,

There were two options - almost all day trip with stop- or PM from 3 - 6 PM. We took the afternoon - 50 euros per person after discount. Definitely not worth it. 1 hour sailing to get there- 1 hour with very little to see just rocks and sea - 1 hour sail back. No birds or sea life... More

We took the tour to Giroalta via the nature reserved area. But but be really aware that if you don't understand French you won't get much information. The captain talked a lot and gave information when we passed all sights but he only gave it in french. All passengers from other countries couldn't understand. Very very bad that this wasn't... We have booked the trip the day before, but were told that only in the morning , depending on weather conditions , it would be confirmed. The next day it was confirmed , we paid 55 euro each and went on board as the last passengers. The boat was very crowded , many very, very young children. After 10 min.... More

We took the 3 hour boat trip to Scandola on the Columbo Line - it didn't help that the weather was rubbish but the actual trip was far too long. The Scandola Nature Reserve was pretty samey and coming back many people were being sick as the water was rough. The main job of the two attendants was to patrol... More

Paid 70€ each for 10 person to go trip on Colombo catamaran. Boat was clean and well crewed. Saw plenty of rocks. The commentary could not be heard so did not learn much. The two hour stop in Girolata beach was appalling, two cows to greet you, a few restaurants and bars, a beach constructed from what appeared to be... More

Great trip to Ajaccio via spectacular Scandola Natural Reserve . Commentary in 4 languages . Managed to get a one way ticket and came back on the train. Wouldn't like to do either journey both ways but a brilliant day out if you take the boat there and train back

We chose the morning trip to the Scandola Natural Reserve with a two hour stop at Girolata on a hot day in July. The boat lefts the port of Calvi at 9.15 and comes back around15 pm. After approx an hour we've glimpsed the wonderful red rocks of the Scandola reserve. The view with the blue - turquoise water and... More

From our experience, we think that this is only worth visiting if you are a big fan of rocks and geology. If you are not, then not worth spending such an expensive ticket price. Three of us we paid a total of €150, which we could have spent on a nice dinner or hire a car to see other part... More
