It is hard to believe that this bridge was built back in the early1900s, and used by trains. The wooden construction style has outlasted mother nature, but trains no longer cross the bridge. It is off the beaten trail but worth the walk.

the sheer size of this trestle, (and another closer to Dawson Creek best viewed from the "snakepit road") is very impressive. No rail traffic on these trestles, as they are deemed unsafe, so no worry about traffic if photos are desired.
