Near the cathedral, the Baptistery is worth a quick look. The exterior is clearly seen when approaching Volterra. The interior is sparsely decorated but nicely. It has a cool and peaceful feel. Please show respect and be quiet when inside.

This attraction is free to visit. It is interesting to understand its 8 side shape. Volterra is very small, so you will surely visit this one.

This is a unique building in Volterra that is sort of unassuming and low -key...but it is nice to stop-in and reflect and take-in some quiet time. The façade is a little different, with the mixed finishes and alternating stripes.
