I too had read the reviews and so arrived at the meeting spot at 6pm with my E10 to find the delightful Claudia, waiting to show and tell me all about her wonderful town. I'd chosen Volterra to avoid the crowds in the more famous...More

I was planning a family trip to Italy to give my sons an introduction to the history, art, and architecture of Italy ( and a sense of our Western cultural heritage that is strangely lacking in American education these days). After visiting the "must see"...More

Claudia brought us on a wonderful walking tour of Volterra. It started at 6pm so it was nice and cool by then. The pace is not too brisk so fine for all levels of fitness, though there are some short steep climbs, and there’s plenty...More

Claudia our guide was great, she is very proud of being born in Volterra and this passion is shown all the way through the tour. Very interesting facts, definitely worth doing. The tour is everyday at 6pm.

The tour takes you in 1 hour (+15 minutes) through the city center along the main highlights. Claudia told us a lot of interesting stories about the history of Volterra and all the monuments. She's very passionate and entertaining, also for children. Highly recommended!

We took the hour-long tour with Claudia, who was funny, knowledgable, and able to answer any questions the group threw at her! It was a great time and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Volterra, even if you're only in town for a couple...More
