Interesting to learn about this local fishing construction. We have seen quite a few along the coast of Gargano. Would like to see one in action

There are several fishing structures of this type along the coast around Vieste. Apparently these are somewhat unique to this area - the Gargano Peninsula. Regrettably we did not see any of these contraptions in action.
