Arrived in the middle of siesta. Not many people out and about. Only a few restaurants open, but well worth the walkabout.

The beaches near Vieste are wide, shallow water and thin sand. The landscape is balanced between the green nature and the city on the rock. No large concrete building to jeopardise the view

Very nice small city with beautiful feeling. Typical italy cafes and fish restaurants. Gorgeous evening atmosphere.

When in Vieste you have to take a walk along the water and take some photos or have a glass of wine at a little cafe and enjoy the view. Beautiful area

It's a promenade with lots of traffic. But you find public beaches and private beaches and a fun park for kids.

Best you ask the owners of the b&b most of the old town is pedestrianised- we did see some cars and said what a nightmare would be. Best of luck.
