The Monte Faito mountain is absolutely worth a visit. Very quiet, wonderful views, fresh mountain air. There are several trekking paths (they are marked, but the marks are not always easy to see). The cable car from Castellamare is unfortunately still under renovation and has...More

head for the resturant terrace by turning right and then right again when you come out at the top of the funicular- its a 10 miunte walk but worth it for the panoramic views from the restaurant terrace.
