Absolutely stunning place, crystal clear water and fun beaches. Many places to outside and recommendation is that stay with the simple local food and avoid any of the "white linen and a la carte overcomplicated" places that would be good in Paris or elsewhere. Simplicity is the key in here :) stayed in the town for 5days in sept 2016... More

We loved Tropea, from the pottery shops, to the churches and beaches. The beaches we crystal clear waters and beautiful cliffs to look at. The water was warm and waves were not too big.

It's not as busy as places like Positano or Rome (Both must sees also), but visiting Tropea adds something uniquely Italian to your trip. It isn't the tourist driven italian food that you are likely to see elsewhere, it is genuine. If you want to actually *feel* like you're living in Italy, Tropea is the place to visit.

Nice little toen in Calabria, southern Italy. Frienfly people, beautiful beach and perfect sea, it's everything you need for a summer vacation.

This is a pearl in the south of Italy. In high season it can be very busy and quite pricey, so if you don't like crowd and noise don't go there in July/August. For the rest, it's really a gem and you'll fall in love with it.

There are so many shops and restaurants, lot of choices. Gelato and street food were very good and plentiful. Everything was easy to find. Not a lot of walking to get from one area to the next. Able to walk to everything, the Church on the hill, beach for a casual and very good lunch. The views from different areas... More

Tropea is quaint and has many restaurants to attract tourists. With it being the end of the season, we assume that the little town was bustling a few weeks ago but you could tell everything was closing for the winter. I'm not an avid shopper but I did really like the rather moden pottery shop just as you step into... More

Tropea, a much visited destination, conserves its special charm .. sea and sand as in other places far away to our ... every time I go back, I do not hesitate to stop the country's balcony overlooking the sea ... from here , a spectacular view .. I recommend everyone to see ..

Old and full of style this place is a must go! Not to count that Baia de Riaci is one of the best beaches in this region

Bella Italy you will find it here. Some small streets you can walk through. Each Saturday you can discover local things at the market
