Another reason for me to like coming to this hill town
Jul 2016 • Solo
Compare small parks such as this one with others found in Italian hill towns and cities in central part of the country and you might surprised to know more about this park. I discovered it by accident while wandering through the streets to or from another site that had drawn my attention. A good place to get a panoramic view of the town from the highest point in the area. Well maintained and neat with many pathways to follow. I found that the view between the trees was limited so I tried it from a different angle. Maybe a little better. A great park for taking a stroll from the center of Todi with nice old trees with shady spots and many places to stop for photography. I did obtain a map from the tourist information office near the Center of Piazza del Popolo. It was a place for bringing children as there were play areas and picnic tables. My visit took place many years ago long before the routine range of calendar dates suitable for indicating the time of my visit were made available for completing this review. Inside city walls it contains some natural elements. If you want to walk through a hill town here is a good chance to benefit from looking at the landscape from the view of a pedestrian. Close to the city center and to the Rocca. I have reviewed so many other places in this hill town that I do not want to repeat myself here. Suffice it to say that I had more enthusiasm for going back to this town a second time many years ago. It remains the same today. I suggest that you go there and enjoy it once.

Lovely walk and children's play area.

It is worth taking a stroll from the centre of Todi through this park. There are plenty of places to stop, sit and admire the view. A map from the tourist information centre of the Piazza di Populo will show you the paths through the park and also highlight the viewpoints. There are picnic tables in shady spots, so a nice place to take the family in good weather. The children's play area should also keep young children entertained.

Great park, nice old trees, limited views
Nov 2015 • Solo
This old parkway has a few major paths, all wide and well managed. they bring you up to the highest point of Todi and but the views between the trees is limited.

The paths are easy and you can avoid going up steps if you need to.

Look out for the lions, statues that is. They are not a matching pair.

Great perspective
Sep 2015 • Friends
Exit left from St. Fortunato Church and you will climb a bit toward Todi's highest point through this park. It's a delight and eventually provides some terrific views. The incline isn't too bad even for those of us with complaining knees.

A great spot for the community
Jun 2015 • Couples
Could do with a tidy up, more shade trees and benches to make it first rate but I'm sure the Todi community get a lot of pleasure at this park on top of Todi. At any rate it makes for a pleasant walk. A pity the convent/monastery's gardens aren't open to the public - they look lovely from the clock tower.

Every town should be so lucky

as to have this kind of friendly, safe view-point cum parkette where people of all ages can visit for some peace, for some floral attraction and for peace of mind. Italians, know that you are fortunate in this regard. Few other nations offer such natural beauty so consistently in all towns. I am done. The end.

Highest place in Todi
Oct 2013 • Solo
Unfortunately you can't enjoy a 360 view, but it's very nice spend a walk to the Rocca, just behind San Fortunato's church. Green grass, some ruins, not much more... a quiet place to have a good rest far from the cars.
