Simply amazing
Aug 2019 • Couples
Personally, I do not attend church. However I appreciate the fantastic architecture, the art, and the craftsmanship that has gone into this church.
Simply amazing!

Medieval hospital with barok church
Apr 2019 • Couples
The façade of the medieval hospital is very nice, and very worthwhile seeing. The church belonging to the same complex is barok in style, and with thus lots to see inside. From the inner courtyard you probably have the best view of the tower and dome of the church, as well as the nice courtyard. Inside is also the room with local costumes, of which especially the ones from Scanno are special. The rest is a small archaeological museum and the remains of a Roman domus. Not too much to see in the latter, and the best parts of the collection are pre-Roman.

Unusual church
Feb 2018 • Solo
It has an incredible baroque facade and an interesting Gothic convent next to it (now site of a museum). The interior was a surprise as it differed completely from the typical central/southern Italian architecture and would have probably been more apt in the Alps. Completely baroque with wood furnishings and three splendid organs it definitely reminded me of a town in Alto Adige.

Interesting building with museum
Apr 2018 • Solo
The building is more impressive than the museum which was quite disappointing (made because I come from Rome where we have much more impressive archaeological relics).

Another church, yes!
Oct 2017 • Couples
Sulmona, a quaint little town in Abruzzo, boasts a wonderful church dedicated to the Annunciation. Built in the romanesque style, its interiors are absolutely beautiful. Its organ, in particular, is worth seeing. One can also admire several frescos. Worth dropping by.

More impressive from outside
Aug 2015 • Couples
This church is much more impressive from outside than inside, and less impressive than lots of other catholic churches in Italy but still gives a memorable image!

An historical place.
Aug 2014 • Couples
I visited the entire building, starting from the church and concluding with the palace on right side.
Very very wonderful and full of art as paintings, scultures and many more.
Do not miss it!

Very nice
Sulmona is a little nice city full of history: it's nice place to have a suggestive walk and see the "Annunziata", a beautiful and old building of the main street of thw little town.
