The Giro dei Condotti is a great walk along the outer perimeter of the city across the Ponte delle Torre. Unfortunately because the Ponte dei Torre is temporarily closed pending engineering review as a result of the August earthquake in eastern Umbria you have to take a round about route. Exit the city thru Piazza Liberta onto Via Metteotti. Turn... More

The Giro dei Condotti was a fabulous walk we took while in Spoleto, we were using a guidebook which outlined walking tracks in Umbria. The description in the book starts and end at Piazza del Duomo, and passes by the magnificent Rocca and over the landmark aquaduct Ponte delle Torri. Once over the Ponte we picked up the trail which... More

If you start at Ponte delle Torri, the 1st half will be a glorious level walk through the woods with fantastic views of La Rocca. The 2nd half is in the sun and a rocky path downward. All the way to the end takes an hour. You will come out near the Amphitheater in the lower town. Pay attention. Somewhere... More

It's another way to see the beautiful city of Spoleto. You start walking from the Tower Bridge, in a circular route of 1 Kilometer. The view is fantastic, the beauty of Mother Nature is all around you. It’s a great way to spend some time outdoors.

The trekking paths south of the Spoleto aqueduct are at times steep but otherwise easy to walk. It's well worth the hike because the views of the fortress, aqueduct and Spoleto valley are fantastic.

You will not be disappointed walking this hike along Spoleto's beautiful hillside. It is easy to hike/walk because a majority of it is level. Some people run the trail, too. From the entrance to Ponte delle Torri, walk across the bridge southbound. When you come to the end of the bridge, turn to the right and you will see a... More

A great way to get some exercise and at the same time see breath taking views of the aquaduct/bridge. Not too difficult of a hike, but I wouldn't recommend flip flops.

Fantastic! The Giro die Condotti is a beautiful trail that goes along the hillside above Spoleto. It offers spectacular views of the city below and immerses you natural beauty as the trail passes through wooded areas dotted with wildflowers and beautiful trees. Easy access to the trail is obtained by walking across the bridge (Ponte delle Torri) and following the... More

We parked outside the stone wall on the white line (of course the parking on the white line is FREE) The tourist office was really very helpfull, he marked our map and we strolled to the lift which took us up to the castle. We spent some time there enjoying the view and then walked around the castle to the... More
