We were in the area at the Millcroft In and thought we would check out the Arts Centre. It was not open. Disappointing. Actually nothing was open in Alton. Sleepy town.More

This place is great for art lovers. Many artists use this space for their working studios. A good bistro, galleries, museum and artistic boutiques as well, all rolled into a historic old mill. Just lovely!

Our daughter had a truly wonderful wedding here. The venue is just lovely and between the ceremony on the lawn, wedding meal under the tent in the old “Ruins”, dancing downstairs and the after wedding bonfire and marshmallows at the fire pit overlooking the waterfall...More

We went there for a wedding, which was lovely. We adimired much of the art, but more than anything, loved the way the building had been preserved, and how well it's historical artifacts had been curated.
