We were in the area at the Millcroft In and thought we would check out the Arts Centre. It was not open. Disappointing. Actually nothing was open in Alton. Sleepy town.More

This place is great for art lovers. Many artists use this space for their working studios. A good bistro, galleries, museum and artistic boutiques as well, all rolled into a historic old mill. Just lovely! Highly recommended.

An assortment of quality local artisanal items including art/clothing/jewelry. In addition, a good array of artifacts from the early 20th century. There is a small coffee shop with terrific chilli.

We went there for a wedding, which was lovely. We adimired much of the art, but more than anything, loved the way the building had been preserved, and how well it's historical artifacts had been curated.
