it was very interesting to learn about the history of this church and the history of Sanremo. The grounds keeper gave us a really good tour (in italian) and free, he was so proud.

Loved to see this old church. Fascinating carvings, stone work, crypts, learn the history of people in Sanremo, the Russian and Eastern European wealthy royals influence.

I was not familiar with the Sanremo history with the Russians. The church is under renovation but we were able to get in and spend time there. The woman at the front admissions desk was extremely pleasant and polite and spent time explaining the history...More

The Church sits back in a corner opposite the large carpark of the old railway station , but you can see it from a Distance ......If you have never seen a Russian church before it is worth seeing, the inside has the gold lustre decor...More

Sadly the onion domes of the church were under renowal and repair when we visited the place, which is going to last for another 3 months according to the lady at the entrance. And she charges €1 per person as donation for enterance!!! But inside...More

The orthodox church in SAnremo is a nice little church. well decorated. It is currently being refurbished. It's not been repainted yet.

Interesting place to visit this small but authentic russian orthodox church. Sit down , look around and enjoy the place. Euro 1,- pp A must see when in San Remo

As you can see from the pic the church is in renovation and we couldnt see inside. And because of that it was closed. Anyway in the inside nothing unusual, I'm 100% positive.

Quite an interesting visit - 1 euro each to enter and obtain a cover up as legs and shoulders must be covered. In city centre.

Church looks great outside- i loved roof especially; inside looks like classical orthodox church- icons and saints murals on the walls. Int he basement were graves of the king Nikola I and queen Milena of Montenegro.
