Not worth it ( yet )

When we saw that reptiland had 4 stars on trip advisor we thought it would be fun to go. Yes, they have a few interessesting snakes and the building on the outside looks nice and clean. But on the inside it's different, a dark and dirty room, with a strange smell. In 30 minutes you've seen everything and there are no fun and informative illustrations, films around the cages.

If they work on this, maybe it might be worth the 9 euros then !

Greetings, Ruben

Quite sad to see these beautiful creatures caged.
Sep 2019
We popped into Reptiland on a whim. I don't know what i thought i would see but when we saw these beautiful creatures just laying in a glass cage day and night for us to ogle made me sad. Terrible when they should be free to hunt their prey. The boa constrictor was huge and the cage too small. I get its good for kids and people interested but at the price of the creatures freedom? Even a cage suitable for their size would be kinder.
Not for me I'm afraid.

Unusual exhibit in the middle of the town

Not everyone's "cup of tea" but it's worth a visit to see some very impressive live snakes and tarantula. A visit takes about 30 - 45 minutes. Each cabinet has extensive information in English on the particular reptile. No issue with taking photos of video.

Interesting, but low quality cages

Reptiland at first seems priced reasonably. But the museum is very small. The animals have small and barren cages. Kids until the age of 8 may enter for free.

Interesting even for teenagers
Jun 2017 • Family
We've been coming to Lake Garda for many years and I have to say that there really aren't many places for teenagers to really enjoy - really. My son is 15 now and he liked Reptiland a lot. It's not huge but we found that to be an advantage. My husband and son were captivated by the different snakes, most of them poisonous, and there were some spiders and a few scorpions as well. I can admit that I only cared for the beautiful butterflies (the only animals not alive) but I would definitively recommend a 30 minutes visit. The staff was helpful, the signs were informative and we thought it was good value for money (9 e for adults and 8 e for minors, they only accept cash).

We really enjoyed it, but I'm pretty sure it's not good for the animals...
Oct 2016 • Family
We visited here on our trip to Lake Garda. The kids really liked all the different snakes and spiders and we got a real kick out of the spitting cobra. However, I couldn't help but wonder if all those people coming up to the glass and causing the snakes to react by lunging at the glass or puff up loudly was good for them. For this reason I don't think I'd go back, but I also wouldn't discourage anyone from visiting either.

Worthwhile
Sep 2016 • Family
An interesting exposition of the species presented, placed within the context of its environment and prevailing architecture.

An exhibit type experience which in contrast with other well known larger theme oriented attractions aimed at wider audiences, perhaps at times afford greater interaction with the visitor.
