Our legs took a few days to recover, but the most sensational views. Worth every step though

Enjoy! The Amalfi Coast is breathtaking.! I started the Path Steps in Minori.( I actually found Minori a perfect place to stay,as it is a central point to the other coastal towns , that you can reach by hopping on a boat for a few euros ( to Positano/Salerno) or walking the coastal road from Minori to Atranti /Amalfi ( you can get some amazing pictures on the walk to these places). If you look at a map or view of Minori , you will see that the narrow coastal road curves around , and has a hairpin turn, that goes past the hotel Maison Raphael,. You walk up the turn past the Mais. Raph. and continue on a short way . The stairs leading up to the Minori/Ravello Path steps are on the right hand side.... a local resident could easily direct you ,or ask Antonio at the Mais. Raph. .he speaks english and is helpful.. There are a few signs once you are on the path , to help direct you to Ravello.. Part way up the pathsteps, there is a beautiful church cemetery that you can go into .. it's worth a picture The walk to Ravello is a good hike.. but worth it. Once at the top, have lunch at the Villa Maria hotel/restaurant.( I made a mistake below calling it the Santa Maria.. sorry.. It is the Villa Maria Restau/.hotel.). . they have outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the valley.. quite romantic too , your wife would enjoy it. The french fries are so yummy , you must try them too I am going to be back there in Sept, and I can't wait !!. Have a wonderful time!!
