We walked down to Minori from Ravello three times during our week in Ravello. It is a lovely walk with LOTS of stairs and the path is well marked. It takes about 30 mins to walk down. You can get a water taxi or ferry...More

Worth the effort to get there and the fantastic town square, but don't stop there, keep going through Scala to Amalfi, stop at the fabulous Trattoria L'Antico Borgo in, Pontone and spoil yourself.

This walk is not suitable for the elderly. I am relatively fit and managed to climb the 1300 steps in 35 minutes, but it cannot be done quicker. Absolutely do not do it in the summer, as it is exhausting in heat. It is even...More

It is really so nice as others promoted. There are many paths from Minori to Ravello. Nice panoramas, lemon gardens, flowers... One of the best experiences(maybe the best), in the region...

it was the best thing I ever did...the beauty you see while walking up those stairs is something you will never see if you drove to Ravello. As you go through the few small towns you will see old churches and homes with a view...More

The Ravello-Minori walk is a must do when visiting the region. Note: While the brochures indicate this is an easy walk, they must be referring to the walk downhill, only. Walking uphill is challenging for most, including those in decent physical shape. One might plan...More

This is a lovely walk down from Ravello to Minori - but best done in the morning rather than the afternoon sun. We were staying on Via Della Republica, so getting to the walk was easy for us. We did it first as a practical...More

Walk down was good, walk up was fantastic, many possible routes so every journey is different. Great views and things to see and people to meet on the way and a good sense of achievement , highlight of my trip to Amalfi !

How many actual steps are there; and how many kilometres does it work out to be going up and a return down? I walked it 4 times in Sept.2016.... I loved Ravello.

I have no idea. You should have done it 5 times and counted!
We are going to be in this area in July and am wondering about transportation. We will be taking a car from positano to ravello and it will be dropping us off. Somehow we need to get from Ravello to Minuta either by taxi or bus. I can't find any bus information so am wondering if taxis are readily available in the area. We will be walking from Minuta down to amalfi. Any information you could tell me would be really helpful. Thanks everybody.
