How does Prato expect to attract more tourists and visitors to their lovely town when they close for long lunches. I would love to have visited this attraction but it closed for 3 hours for lunch.

Museo di Palazzo Pretorio is a surprisingly good art museum with picture from the medieval period and forward. It is located in the old city hall. In one room there is a film about the history of the building.

This museum is really well done, and we were surprised by that. If you are in town I would check it out. The rooftop view is amazing on a clear day!
