The church was rebuilt on the 14th century oratory and modified several times in its history. The Major interventions were made to the presbytery in the 16th century and the front portico in the 17th century. The interior was refurbished in the baroque and rococo style with some very interesting decorations and paintings. The church is well worth the visit.
