During my stay In Pineto I went for a walk to visit Torre Guaceto and area marina. A very interesting place, full of peace. Nature was fascinating.

Lovely place
Jun 2019 • Solo
It is a really lovely place, here you can admire Torre del Cerrano it is a sightin tower, build in 1490 to protect the population against pirates, the area is surrounded by a pinewood in front of the sea, the area is protected because here, on the dunes, nests a bird called fratino.
It is a lovely place to go for a walk, a swim, or just relax on the beach.

very nice beach with the view of tower
Jun 2018 • Couples
We did not visit the Torre itself but the beach nearby. You have either free part of the beach or some parts with paid umbrellas. From the sea you have nice view of the sandy beach, grassy hills, towering Torre and fast trains speeding behind the beach (to reach the beach you go under the tracks). The camping is located just nearby. Be aware the the parking is rather packed when you come later than noon in a weekend.

A nice goal for a long walk
Jul 2015
We walked the gorgeous beach in Pineto, to reach this local site. I didn't find it particularly interesting, but felt ebullient that I'd completed the long walk at a beautiful spot.

Beach & tower - beauty
Sep 2015 • Family
The beaches in Pineto are good - you have the choice between the umbrella / chairs / restaurant ones, and the open ones (eg near to this tower and others hidden between the umbrellas). The 16th century (watch) tower is a beauty in itself - and probably the only old building in Pineto as it is a rather new but nevertheless charming town. Railway is close, so every hour or so you will hear a train passing by, which doesn't really cause a problem (unless you really can't stand trains I guess ...)

Maybe we went to the wrong part of the beach
Sep 2015 • Couples
The Pineto beach area is really quite long and perhaps we simply missed the best part. We ended up quite far north and the beach was pebbles not sand (it was also a fairly windy day which probably didn't help. The area was very nice (a few cafés and some organised deck chair/parasol sites) but mostly free to walk and sit where you wanted. There was also a superb walking/cycling track that seems to run the length of the coast at this point. We didn't visit the beach at the tower mentioned in other reviews - perhaps it's nice and sandy there. Overall we were happy enough with the beach where we saw it, but it wasn't what we expected. If you've read reviews and are looking forward to sandy beaches and pine trees nearby, make sure you head to the right section of the beach.

Lovely sandy beach with pines trees for shade!
Aug 2015 • Family
The beaches near to the Tower are really good. They are open access so you don't get the lines of sunloungers and umbrellas. You can find your own space and settle in for a great day of beach fun. You will have to park on or near the main road and walk onto the beach but most of the parking is free (although it can take a while to find a space if you don't get there early enough). The beach wasn't at all crowded and we had plenty of space. The cafe's and bars are sparce on this stretch so you might want to take some food and drink with you.

If you go further down the beach towards Pineto there is a long section of pine trees just behind the beach that offer shade and secluded spots as well.
