It was such a nice surprise package for us. We rented bikes from Porto Ercole (Delores Rentals) and cycled through the national park - it was just gorgeous and lovely getting away from all the tourist. Love all the deer too. Will definitely do it...More

Rent a bike and explore. I loved looking up through the pines. Take a travel hammock and stay a while.

you can walk or bike the 6 km from Ansedonia to Porto Ercole, into a pine forest, well protected from the sun, the beach is accessible every km with a short lateral walk.

Every year when I visit Ansedonia we make a trip to the pineta between the Feniglia and The Giannella beaches. This is a protected natural park with a 8 km natural road that you can ride by bike or enjoy walking or jogging (no cars)....More
